Braemar Golf Dome rises from the ashes

Posted: Updated:

The Braemar Golf Dome in Edina, Minn. has literally risen from the ashes and is back in business after a fire shut it down in February of 2012.

The dome is open every day between November and mid-April from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. It's the largest and longest-hitting dome in the Twin Cities with 46 tee areas on two levels. It also now has a new fire suppression system to prevent another fire from sparking in the complex.

The 2012 fire shut the business down indefinitely after an early morning fire burned a hole in the side of the dome. The fire spread to the hill behind the dome but burned itself out before fire crews could tend to it.
