Minneapolis police have confirmed one person is dead and three were injured after a suspect fired shots into an East Lake Street restaurant early Monday morning.
Police responded to reports of a shooting at 1:34 a.m. at La Que Buena on the 1600 block of East Lake Street. One adult man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they found two other shooting victims at the scene, both are expected to recover and are currently being treated at Hennepin County Medical Center. A third man showed up at HCMC on his own with injuries sustained in the shooting at HCMC and is also expected to recover.
Preliminary information indicated a group of people were eating inside the restaurant when the suspect approached the building from the outside, shot into the restaurant and fled the scene.
