Tires on at least 14 vehicles in Royal Oak were reported to be found slashed last week. The incidents happened sometime between 11:00 p.m. on November 14 and 8 a.m. on November 15.

The majority of the vehicles affected were on Edgeland Avenue. Four other homeowners also reported slashed tires on nearby Greenway Avenue, and one other report came from Devon Road.

Lt. Dave Clements tells Fox 2's Robin Schwartz this was "random" violence. "There's really no reason for it ... doesn't appear there was any coordinator or anybody was targeted, it just appears to be a random act of destroying property."
