UPPER MACUNGIE, P.a. -

Police in Upper Macungie are investigating a bank robbery at the Fogelsville Bank of America that happened around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say the suspect went in through the bank's main entrance and demanded cash from a teller. He did not display a weapon but threatened to use one if the teller did not comply.

The suspect was given money and walked out of the bank after placing the cash in his satchel.  He was then seen getting into a silver- or white-colored pickup truck and then driving away in an unknown direction, according to police.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, 30 to 40 years old wearing an OD Green (or dark-colored) field jacket over a bright blue shirt, blue jeans and a white baseball cap with "Polo Sport Athletics" written on the front. He was last seen with a single-strap, dark-colored satchel over his shoulder and getting into the pickup.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or individual is asked to please call police or Lehigh County Radio at 610-437-5252.
