Growing plants indoors always presents new challenges. Now that all our growing and thriving plants are indoors, how do you keep them healthy?
Dale K. shares his tips that keep your plants looking beautiful all winter long, even when they're forced to move indoors.
-Use the best quality soil you can find for re-potting. Dale recommends Sungrow Horticulture products – it has a great organic mix of materials.
-Watering depends on the plant – the type, location can all alter when you water your plant. Make sure you give it a healthy drink, don't skimp on the moisture. Wait until the water begins to drain out the bottom
-Don't use water with water softener in it
-Don't let the plant sit in the water that drains, dump the dish out after watering
-Place a plastic humidity bag over your plant – it's like a trip to the spa!
