What is cellulite?
Cellulite is the dimpled appearance of the skin that occurs when fat deposits sit just below the skin's surface. This is a common problem, particularly for women. The thighs, buttocks and stomach are the most common areas where cellulite builds up.
Gender is the number one factor, as most people with cellulite are woman. Hormones, such as estrogen, are believed to play a pivotal role in cellulite development.
How do I get rid of it?
Limit Sugary drinks and alcohol
Eat at least .5 g protein per lb. of body weight per day
Drink 8-10 glasses of water
Eliminate processed foods
Get enough sleep
Focus more on weighted exercises & high intensity spurts of cardio versus longer, steady state cardio exercises
Are there exercises that help?
...but be sure to do cardio in between!
