Chef Jordan Gifford and Penny Jernberg with the 5-8 Club share their November Turkey Juicy Lucy recipe along with a special deal for veterans.
The 5-8 Club's Turkey Juicy Lucy
1 lb ground turkey
2 oz Stuffing
3 oz Turkey Gravy
1 oz Corn
3/4th slice of an American cheese single
1 oz of Cranberry Sauce
1 oz Coleslaw Dressing
Pinch of Salt, Pepper, Garlic, and Parsley
Take the ground turkey and separate it into 4 equal parts (about a 1/4lb each). Make into four patties. Fold 3/4th (.75 oz) slices of American cheese in half twice (this makes 2 Juicy Lucys). Separate and put 3/4th slice of American cheese into the middle of two of your turkey patties. Cover the cheese with 2 oz Stuffing, 1 oz Corn, 1oz Cranberry Sauce, 1 oz Coleslaw Dressing, and a pinch of Salt, Pepper, Garlic, and Parsley. Take your two remaining patties and put them on top of the patties with cheese. Lightly pinch around the edges to join the two patties. Cook the patties for 8-10 minutes on each side or until cooked through. After they are cooked, lightly cover with gravy and serve on a hamburger bun.
