A west suburban high school campus has been evacuated Thursday following a bomb threat.

Lake Park High School's west campus at 500 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. in Roselle has been evacuated and all students were released because of a bomb threat, according to a statement on the school's website.

No threats were made to the east campus, which has not been affected.

All students, faculty and staff are safe, according to the statement. Students were evacuated to the Clauss Center, which is adjacent to the school, and then released.

Local police and fire departments are securing the campus, according to the site.

A representative for the school was not immediately available for comment.
