Man sentenced in love-triangle killing

Posted: Updated:

A man will spend the next 20 years in prison for the love-triangle shooting death of his ex-girlfriend's fiancée.

The Cobb County District Attorney's Office in a release sent to FOX 5 News states that 41-year-old Patrick Lamar Burr shot and killed 24-year-old Arthur "Dwayne" Moses Jr. while he sat with his former girlfriend in a car on Griggs Street last December.

Police say Burr shot at the pair while they were fleeing, killing Moses.

Burr was convicted in October on voluntary manslaughter, felony murder and aggravated assault, as well as possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.
