American Eagle Flight 4332, operated by Republic Airlines, from New Orleans landed safely at O'Hare and was headed to the gate when the skid took place. A majority of the Embraer E175 was still on the pavement – only the nose is in the grass.

There were 38 passengers on board the plane and four crew members. No one was injured. Buses were sent out to the plane to shuttle passengers to the terminal. They were all off the plane as of 9:20 a.m.

Prior to this Wednesday morning report, neither Midway Airport nor and O'Hare reported delays or cancellations due to weather.
