EUHARLEE, Ga. -

Two people were rushed to the hospital late Tuesday night after a train derailment in Bartow County.

CSX spokesperson Carla Groleau tells FOX 5 News that the train had just made a deliver to Plant Bowen around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. It had just pulled away en route to Evansville, Indiana when it derailed near an private road in Euharlee.

Two CSX employees were taken to the Floyd County Medical Center with minor injuries.

The incident happened on the main rail line. CSX crews spent the morning re-railing the locomotive.
