Surveillance Video: Cobbs Creek Robbery

PHILADELPHIA -

The Philadelphia Police Department's Southwest Detectives Division is looking to identify the suspect who robbed a grocery store in Cobbs Creek.

On October 18, 2013, at 6:25 p.m., according to police, an unknown male wearing a fake beard entered Jacquez Grocery located at 6001 Baltimore Avenue. He was armed with a hand gun and demanded money from the cash register, surveillance shows. After taking $500 the suspect fled west on Baltimore Avenue, say police.

According to investigators, the suspect is a Light complected black male or male of middle eastern descent, 30-40 years-of-age, 5'10″-6'0″, medium build. He was wearing light blue jeans and a gray sweatshirt.
