MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

Happy Halloween! The trick-or-treating in the Twin Cities may have been a little chilly and damp, but many Minnesotans say they prefer a little rain to a blizzard.

GREAT HALLOWEEN BLIZZARD

On this day, 22 years ago, the Great Halloween Blizzard began and became one of the largest snowstorms in Minnesota history. It was responsible for 20 to 30 inches of snow across the Twin Cities metro and crippled the area for almost a week.
