FALL BACK: Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend

It's an annual ritual that results in an extra hour of sleep. "Fall Back" will end Daylight Saving Time this Sunday at 2 AM.

Of course, you don't have to stay up until 2:00 am to set your clocks back, you can do it do it before you go to bed or when you get up. The biggest risk is that if you forget, you will be an hour early for whatever you had planned for Sunday.

Daylight Saving Time, and yes it's "Saving" not "Savings", started as a way to save energy and to keep people active after work during the summer. Now, in the fall, it will get lighter earlier, allowing for some added safety with kids going to school.

Speaking of safety, it's also a good time to check the batteries in your smoke on CO2 detectors.
