BURNSVILLE, Minn. (KMSP) -

Police are investigating a new instance of graffiti at Burnsville High School that fits a pattern of about a dozen cases earlier this summer, but makes a specific reference to Nov. 1, 2013.

Burnsville High School principal Dave Helke said the words "DNH Mafia" were found in the boy's bathroom last week, along with the date "11/1/2013" and the phrase "last man standing."

Police suspect the individuals behind the graffiti are referencing the Call of Duty Black Ops II video game, which includes a clan called Demonized Noble Heroes (DNH)..

About 12 separate cases of graffiti with the words "DNH Mafia" were reported in Burnsville this summer and fall, beginning in August.
