September Recap

Posted: Updated:

Overall, the nation was above average in both temperatures and precipitation during the month of September as we experienced our 6th warmest and 16th wettest in the 119 year history of record. But Minnesota was a little different with temperatures well above average, but precipitation below what is considered normal. Some of the drought experienced during the summer months did improve slightly despite the sub average precipitation but was a very comfortable month overall with many of us experiencing highs in the 70's and 80' through the month. Here are some graphical representations that will sum it up for you.
