Posted: Updated:

Following the Vikings 23-7 loss at the Meadowlands, Leslie Frazier announced during his press conference that Josh Freeman will remain his starting quarterback on Sunday night when the Vikings play host to the Green Bay Packers.

Freeman made his Vikings debut and completed 20-of-53 passes for 190 yards. He overthrew receivers in 16 of his passes which according to those who keep track of such things is a NFL record. The Vikings, using their third quarterback this season sit at 1-5 on the season and are last in the NFC Central division.
