Philly ends up with the number one spot of a count-down we probably shouldn't be too proud of.
E-Poll Market Research, a company that measures celebrity appeal, took a poll of the most disliked players in the NFL. Out of 1,100 people polled, The Eagles' Michael Vick is the most disliked player in the NFL. It's been more than four years Since Vick was released from federal prison for his conviction in a dog-fighting operation. Out of all respondents to the survey, 53% expressed dislike for Vick.
At number two is Manti Te'o, who had a 48% dislike. Te'o has not been able to recover since the bizarre "catfishing" incident with the fake girlfriend.
At number three is Detroit Lions' Ndamukong Suh. He has a 43% dislike. Ben Roethlisberger of the Steelers is at four with a 40% dislike. It seems that the sexual assault accusations tainted his image.
Mark Sanchez of the New York Jets is also at 40%. Jay Cutler of the Chicago Bears is at 33% Tony Romo of the Cowboys is at 32% dislike.
Number eight is a big surprise to some. He has good looks, and makes money endorsing products, but it seems like his life is too perfect for fans to relate to. Tom Brady has 25% dislike among fans.
Even though he's number one, Vick was redeemed by NFL die-hards. The study found that hard-core NFL fans liked Vick and could see past the dog-fighting conviction.
