RIVER FALLS, Wis. (KMSP) -

A junior Girl Scout from River Falls. Wis. has gone Hollywood at the tender age of 11.

Abby Fry won a national talent search to find a new star for a Coffee-Mate television commercial that's running all over the country, and the fifth-grader just returned home from a whirlwind trip to Hollywood.

"The first time I got into acting, if you call it acting, was a school play when I was 7. I was the narrator, so there wasn't all that much acting, just lots of reading. I loved it," Fry said.

Just 11 years old, Fry has star written all over her.

The Girl Scout from Troop #53022 recently won a national casting call for a Nestle Coffee-Mate 30-second television spot. The company needed the perfect young woman to pitch their latest creamer flavors, inspired by the cookies the Girl Scouts made famous.

Fry beat out more than 600 others and was flown to Hollywood to shoot the commercial.

"It's fun, insane, and difficult, easy, all at the same time, it just goes by so fast," Fry said.

A film crew followed her journey from her childhood home to the Hollywood set.

"I have to tell you I was a little surprised by the star treatment when we went out there. They flew us out first class. Stretch Navigator drove us around. We felt like stars while the shoot was going on," her father Blake Fry said.

At her River Falls elementary school, her teacher John Gildseth and classmates have one request

"We did say it she ever got an Oscar.. We want front row seats at the Oscars. That's what the kids and I want," Gildseth said.

Gildseth said he wasn't surprised to see his young student get the break of a lifetime. He's just not sure what this means for her future aspirations.

"She has told me she will either be the first or second female president depending on how Hillary does," Gildseth said.

Fry confirmed this aspiration to Fox 9.

"Well, I want to be in politics. I am still deciding what branch I want to be in," Fry said.

While a run for office may still be years away, Fry is following her acting dreams. The commercial launched this week and she spent the last several days in Hollywood lining up an acting coach, an agent and getting head shots taken. Fry did say, however, that she really loves the Midwest and doesn't necessarily want to move away.
