Authorities are searching for thieves who stole a $500,000 camera from the crew filming "Dumb and Dumber To."

The expensive movie camera was taken from a rental car while the cameraman and his assistant were inside of a Chamblee IHOP on Saturday.

Chamblee Police Detective Ernesto Ford says it wasn't an easy grab: the camera weighs more than 100 pounds.

Police say thieves apparently punched the driver's side lock out of the SUV to get the camera.  A laptop computer and a headset were also stolen.

Ford says they are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects or the recovery of the camera. He also said police were able to get some fingerprints from the car, which they hope will lead them to a suspect.
