ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. (KMSP) -

Minneapolis police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 30-year-old man and his dog.

A flyer posted to Facebook seeking the public's help says Chris Simondet has bipolar disorder and has recently been off of his medication.

Simondet was reported missing on Sunday, Oct. 13 and has been spotted several times in the past few days but his whereabouts are still unknown, Minneapolis police said.

According to the Facebook flyer, he and a dog named Diesel were last seen on foot at Super America in St. Louis Park at Highway 62 and Shady Oak Road late Monday night. Simondet appeared disoriented and was wearing a hospital band on his wrist, according to the witness.

Simondet is 6'1, 185 lbs, with brown curly hair. Diesel is a 2-year-old, 85 lb dog with brown short hair and brindle on his legs.

Minneapolis police urge anyone who sees Simondet or has any information related to his whereabouts to call 911.
