Posted: Updated:

Jami Gertz is now in the second season of the TV show "The Neighbors" on ABC.  On Good Day LA, she talked about being a mother of boys, and says she feels like she's turned into one.

Jami is also on the other side of the camera as a producer, and she talked about her movie "A Better Life" which is the story about an immigrant parent, who is wanting a better life for his son.  He's a gardener, and his son is on the precipice of teenage life and possibly joining a gang. The story talks about how they need to get back into each other's lives.

She says that there is great writing in television these days. She says it's great to follow the characters on television each week.

Gertz is known for her early roles in the films Sixteen Candles, The Lost Boys, Less Than Zero, the 1980s TV series Square Pegs and 1996's Twister, as well as for her role as Judy Miller in the TV show Still Standing.
