A Powerball ticket sold in Hennepin County matched five numbers in Wednesday night's drawing – good for a $1 million prize.
The winning ticket was just the final, red Powerball number away from winning the $108 million jackpot in the Oct. 9 drawing.
The odds of matching five numbers for $1 million is 1 in 5,153,633.
WHO'S THE LUCKY WINNER?
Robert Bailey, of St. Paul, claimed his prize first thing on Monday morning at the lottery headquarters in Roseville.
Bailey said he spent a couple of sleepless nights after he learned he won on Oct. 12.
"I was too excited to sleep," Bailey admitted. "Every time I was about to doze off, I'd start thinking about it again."
Bailey said he bought the winning ticket at the Holiday gas station located at 1301 Industrial Boulevard NE in Minneapolis.
