Target Corp. is laying off 150 people in Minnesota, FOX 9 confirmed Wednesday. Spokeswoman Amy Reilly said the decision was the result of a company workflow analysis that found "a clear duplication of roles."
The job cuts affect employees both at, and outside of, the Minneapolis headquarters. All affected employees were informed of their termination by the close of business Wednesday. Target would not specify the specific departments that the layoffs occurred in, except to say they were at the corporate level and not at the store level.
