Police On Site At Delaware High School After Online Threat

WILMINGTON, Del. -

Delaware State Police will be patrolling Concord High School in Wilmington on Monday morning after threatening messages were posted online.

Officials in the Brandywine School District say the school will remain open but students' bags will be searched as they enter the building.

They say threatening and offensive messages were posted on a social learning platform.

Investigators say the threat originated from out of state.

Parents wishing to keep their children home Monday can do so with an excused absence.

This is the second time in a week that a threat has been made toward a school in New Castle County.

FOX 29's Stephanie Esposito has more details in this video report.
