A suspect was arrested for the shooting of four people at an Avondale apartment party on Oct. 6.

Police identified 35-year-old Darrol Clayborn as the alleged shooter.

He was arrested on Friday with help from the US Marshall's Fugitive Task Force.

The shooting happened inside an apartment near 111th Avenue and Van Buren.

All four people who were shot jumped into a car and someone tried to drive them to the hospital.

As they turned in front of the complex, they saw an officer on the road and flagged him down for help.

A neighbor took photos of the chaotic the scene Sunday morning.

"Police cars and ambulances came in," said Sandy Lizotte, who lives in the complex.

The four people shot were treated by paramedics and rushed to the hospital.

The shooting happened at 6 a.m. at a party that was still going.

"It's just shocking," said Tabitha Weston, a concerned parent.

Police say there was 10 to 15 people at the party when the shooting happened.

Witnesses were separated by police as detectives questioned them.

"Scary that it happened that close to us and having kids here," said Weston.

"I'm single here and I do feel safe here still," said Lizotte.

All four people had non-life threatening injuries.

Clayborn faces four counts of aggravated assault and misconduct with weapons-prohibited possessor.

The victims' names haven't been released.
