MNsure pushes launch to Tuesday afternoon

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) -

The looming government shutdown won't have an impact on Minnesota's new online health insurance marketplace, but MNsure's Oct. 1 launch will be pushed back to the afternoon so the state can make sure the system connects properly with federal computers.

WHAT'S MNSURE?

Minnesota is launching an online health insurance marketplace in compliance with the Affordable Care Act that requires every citizen to carry health insurance starting Jan. 1, 2014.

MNsure gives 1.3 million uninsured or under-insured Minnesotans a place to shop for coverage.
