A Detroit firefighter with a set of golden pipes wowed the Comerica Park crowd Saturday night with his rendition of 'The Star-Spangled Banner.'

Martin Rucker sang the national anthem before the Tigers played host to the Chicago White Sox.

It was announced earlier this month that Rucker won Comerica Bank's Home of the Brave National Anthem Singing Contest. His rendition was picked by a panel of judges and voted as the best by the public.

The 14-year department veteran received 40 tickets to the game and earned his station a $10,000 grant courtesy of Comerica Bank.
