New York, NY -

FOX News Channel's Elisabeth Hasselbeck debuted as the co-host of top-rated cable news morning show FOX & Friends (6:00-9:00 AM/ET) on Monday, September 16th.

She joined current co-hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade on a brand new set.

In her new role, Hasselbeck, who previously served as a co-host on ABC's 'The View', is interviewing key newsmakers, celebrities and politicians on a brand new curvy couch alongside veteran co-hosts Doocy and Kilmeade, both of whom have been with the program since it debuted in 1998.

For 15 years, FOX & Friends has been the signature morning program for the network. The show has eclipsed the competition as the most-watched morning show in cable news for over 140 months, routinely beating CNN and MSNBC combined in both total viewers and the A25-54 demo during that timeslot.

From Anchor Julie Chang:

New co-host...New set...but chemistry like they've been buddies for years! Our Julie Chang talked to the co-hosts of Fox & Friends this morning about how they were able to gel right off the bat. Brian Kilmeade revealed that they've been living together for the last year! He was clearly joking but it was funny nonetheless! Steve Doocy said the real bonding happened just 9 days before Elisabeth Hasselbeck's Sept 16th debut. The three of them went down to Louisiana to join the cast of Duck Dynasty for a few days. During filming...the three said they found out everything they need to know about each other, hence the comfort you see on-air.

Julie asked new co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck how she handles the question, "how do you do it all"? Many successful women including Sheryl Sandberg and Tina Fey view this question to be sexist given rarely do men get asked this question. Elisabeth was gracious to deflect the question to her male co-hosts...because she said the challenge of balancing family and work applies to men and women...and that men should be given the same credit and asked the same question. Brian Kilmeade was quick to answer that the way he balances it all is by only focusing on himself. Again..he's kidding!

Julie also asked how Fox & Friends will set itself apart in the competitive morning show areana. Steve Doocy said they already have hence being the #1 morning show on cable. He also humorously pointed out that Fox & Friends is the only show to be featured on The Daily Show as well as Saturday Night Live on a weekly basis.
