A semi driver making a routine stop at a railroad crossing in Roseville, Minn. noticed something peculiar was able to escape before the cab burst into flames.
At around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, the driver was stopped at a railroad crossing on County Road C when he noticed the cab was aflame. The fire spread to the semi's fuel tanks and the entire cab soon went up in flames. The semi's tanker full of ethanol never caught fire and the driver was not hurt.
Fire crews used water to keep it cool while controlling the flames. The ethanol was then pumped into a different tanker and transported from the scene to avoid another blaze.
