Ahead of a men's health event this weekend at Ford Field, join Deena Centofanti and Dr. Michael Lutz and Dr. Jason Hafron in a live chat room Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. to get answers to questions about men's health.

EVENT INFORMATION:

FOX 2 is proud to team up with the Michigan Institute of Urology (MIU) Men's Health Foundation for the 3rd annual Men's Health Event at Ford Field.  The goal is to provide health screenings for more than 2000 Metro Detroit men, including those without health insurance.

Join FOX2's Deena Centofanti and Jay Towers for the Men's Health Event 20XIII - Saturday, Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ford Field, Gate G. This free event, developed by MIU doctors, will give men a better understanding of how to stay healthy, screen men for some of the most treatable diseases and to assess their current health, share information about men's health topics and increase awareness about advances in healthcare.

New this year, attendees will have the opportunity to kick a field goal with retired Detroit Lions kicker Eddie Murray on Ford Field from 11 a.m. to noon and randomly selected participants will win Detroit Tigers tickets for that evening's home game.

The Men's Health Event will allow men ages 18 and over, even those without access to health insurance, to assess their current health status with a variety of free screenings. In addition to standard vital measurements, blood screenings will test for prostate-specific antigen (PSA), testosterone, glucose and cholesterol levels.
