Dad pleads not guilty after baby dies in hot car

PHOENIX (AP) - A 31-year-old Phoenix man has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from his infant son's death in a parked car.

A Maricopa County Superior Court spokeswoman says Daniel Gray entered the plea Monday.  He's charged with manslaughter and child abuse,

3-month-old Jamison Gray died Aug. 28 when outside temperatures were about 100°.

Police have said Gray forgot that he'd left his son in the car.

Acording to police, Gray was inside the restaurant where he worked as a manger and then outside smoking marijuana with a coworker.
