Suspect sought in fatal Snellville shooting

Posted: Updated:
SNELLVILLE, Ga. -

Police are searching for a man they say shot four people – three of them fatally -- in Snellville on Sunday.

Angelina Benton, 34, her 12-year-old son, Joseph McDonald, and 19-year-old family friend Raynord Daniel were killed in the shooting, according to police. A fourth victim -- 23-year-old Justin Cato -- was hospitalized.

The bodies of McDonald and Daniel were found inside the home on Anderson-Livsey Lane, while Benton and Cato were found on the street, according to police. They all were all struck by gunfire.

Police say the suspect in the shooting, 33-year-old Robert E. Bell, and his wife, Danielle Hill-Bell, were staying at the home after meeting Benton at church.  Cpl. Jake Smith of the Gwinnett County Police Department said the two were invited into the home because they needed a place to live.

Bell's black SUV was recovered at the scene. Police say an AR-15 was found in the vehicle and may have been the murder weapon.

Anyone with information on Robert Bell's whereabouts is urged to call 911. He is said to be about 6-feet tall and weighs about 300 pounds. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Bell's wife has been located and is not facing charges, Smith said.  She is talking with investigators, FOX 5's Kaitlyn Pratt reports.
