SUNDAY NIGHT WEATHER: FROST ADVISORY

Posted: Updated:
Meteorologist Steve Frazier Meteorologist Steve Frazier

The rain has moved on and the clouds will soon part as another Canadian high pressure moves into the Upper Mid-West. With clear skies and light winds, temperatures will take a dive. 40s are possible in the metro and 30s will be possible in areas off to the north and east.

SUNDAY NIGHT WEATHER MAP

A FROST ADVISORY is in effect overnight so cover up the last of those summer veggies that you want to keep.

A crisp morning can be expected at the bus stop for back to school and work Monday.

As with high pressure, the sky will be clear, so once we make it past the chilly start, our Monday looks sunny and pleasant, with highs slightly below normal. As the high moves on, a southwesterly wind will give a brief warm up for mid-week. That warm up will be short lived as another cold front will swing down from Canada late week and knock our temperatures back into the "Below Normal" category. It's that time of year folks, when each of these cold fronts seems to knock us back a bit farther each time.
