(WJBK) -

Three sisters from metro Detroit stumbled at first, but wound up impressing the judges on Thursday's episode of 'The XFactor,' FOX's singing competition.

During their audition in Denver, Temperance, Tiara and Tenija Morton of Wayne, known as the vocal group RoXxy Montana, performed a cover of Jennifer Hudson's 'One Night Only'  that didn't impress.

But they rebounded with an a cappella version of a church song that left judge Simon Cowell saying, "Apart from the groups I've put together, this is potentially the best group we've ever had on The X Factor."

The sisters received a 'yes' vote from all four judges and advanced to the next round.

Tune in to the The X Factor on FOX Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET.
