A 15-year-old boy on his bicycle was hit by a car that had a green light in a Ham Lake, Minn. intersection Tuesday evening.
Anoka County sheriff's officials said the Ham Lake teen was attempting to cross Highway 65 at Crosstown Boulevard around 6:30 p.m. but did not have the right of way when he was struck. A 58-year-old Elk River, Minn. man heading south on Highway 65 hit the boy in the intersection. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be involved, according to police.
The boy was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center and is listed in critical but stable condition.
