4 Minn. women charged in major identity theft ring

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) -

The Ramsey County attorney's office has charged four women, including a former State of Minnesota employee, with stealing hundreds of identities.

Shauntell Burg, Roxanne Deflorin and Kristin Warren of St. Paul, Minn. and Andrea Gunderson are accused of stealing dates of birth, social security information and driver licenses numbers.

According to the criminal complaint, Deflorin was a former Department of Labor employee who accessed the accounts from her work computer.

"These individuals caused havoc and great concern for the personal identities of hundreds of hard-working employees and retirees," said Ramsey County Attorney John Choi
