Still unsure what MNsure is?

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

Minnesota is one of 16 states starting an online health insurance marketplace in compliance with the Affordable Care Act, which will require every American citizen to carry health insurance on Jan. 1, 2014.

MNsure will offer a variety of health insurance plans to individuals, families and small businesses. The goal is to allow you to shop for a plan that fits your coverage needs, helping the uninsured get insured and the underinsured get a better deal.

Open enrollment through MNsure begins Oct. 1, 2013 and runs through March 31, 2014.
