Dash-cam video shows the chase involving Warren Police and the stolen 2005 Cadillac just after midnight Monday. Two officers spotted the stolen care near 8 Mile and Dequindre. The owner, A 38-year-old Eastpointe man, says the vehicle was taken from him at gunpoint Sunday while he was pumping gas in Warren.

At some point in the chase, officers lost sight of the car. They located it after it crashed into a Suburban then wrapped around a light pole and caught fire. Police put out the flames and crews used the jaws of life to pull the suspects out of the car.

The two young men from Detroit are hospitalized in serious condition.

Highland Park fire Lt. Eric Hollowell says the 12-year veteran firefighter was treated at Henry Ford Hospital and released several hours later.

Two handguns were also recovered. The case has been sent to the prosecutor's office for review.
