Families Crowd The Boards For Labor Day Weekend At The Shore

Posted: Updated:
OCEAN CITY, N.J. -

With the long Labor Day weekend comes the unofficial end of summer.

For many people this will be the last weekend to head down the shore, and it's going to be a hot and muggy one.

Families in Ocean City hit the beach bright and early Friday to soak up every last minute of summer, despite a few clouds.

From the waves to the sand, children found plenty of ways to entertain themselves. And as the sun started to go down, big crowds started arriving on the boardwalk

There's plenty going on at the shore this holiday weekend. FOX 29's Kelly Hessedal has more details and reaction in this video report.
