Chicago's Most Wanted: Oak Lawn bank robber

Posted: Updated:

In this case, the robber did nothing to hide who he was, and wore a very distinguishing hat during his robbery. Bank cameras captured some good pictures of this individual that FBI agents believe make him easily identifiable to those who know him.

The robbery took place at the TCF bank branch at 10350 South Pulaski in Oak Lawn on July 28, 2013.

Shortly before 2:00pm that day, the man walked into the bank, approached the teller and handed over a note demanding money.

The man did not display or imply that he had any kind of weapon with him.

The robbery itself was very low key, but the man's bright, multi-colored hat stood out and agents are confident it will make it easy for someone to tell them who the robber is.

The FBI is offering a reward for information that helps us identify and arrest the man responsible for this robbery.

He's a black male in his 20's. Around 5' 6'' or 5' 7''. He has brown eyes, and unknown hair color because it was tucked inside his hat. He had facial hair during the robbery and was wearing a dark colored jacket during the robbery. If you have any information about who he is, you are asked to call the FBI or local police.
