With their 88-75 loss to Atlanta, the Lynx have dropped four of their last five games. Call it a bump in the road or a slump, the team still boasts the best record in the WNBA (18-7), but their once comfortable cushion over Los Angeles in the Western Conference is down to a single game with 9 games to play in the regular season.
If the Lynx are going to represent the West in the Finals, they are going to have to take care of business on the road. Five of the remaining nine are on the road including a three game road trip in the beginning of September where they play back-to-back against Seattle, then travel to Los Angeles in what could decide playoff seedings.
The Lynx return to action tomorrow night as they travel to Connecticut to battle the Sun.
