3 arrested after standoff with Minneapolis police

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

Minneapolis police made three arrests after a two-hour standoff on Saturday night near Thomas Avenue North.

Around 6:30 p.m., police were notified of gunshots fired at a home on the 3800 block of Thomas Avenue North. When police arrived, a man ran into the home and barricaded himself inside.

The standoff ultimately ended peacefully around 9 p.m. with the man and two others placed behind bars, Minneapolis police spokeswoman Cyndi Barrington said.
