Miracle League fulfills baseball dreams

Posted: Updated:
DETROIT -

Whether you're sitting at a Braves game, or watching Little League, baseball has a special energy about it. It's not just the game -- it's the crowd, and the announcer and the booming music.
That same experience is what makes The Miracle League an oasis of happiness.

In this league, everybody plays, everybody gets a hit, and everybody wins.

The Miracle League is really baseball at its best:  it's a chance for children with disabilities to step up to the plate - and forget all the hard stuff life throws at them.

This league was born right here in Georgia, but for our story, we're going to take you all the way to Michigan.
