JEFFERSON, Ga. -

Family members of a woman who was found dead in Lake Lanier on Friday are speaking out.  Investigators aren't yet sure how 32-year-old Michelle Baxter died, but her family tells us they have lots of unanswered questions.

Fishermen found Baxter's body in Lake Lanier near the point where the lake goes into the Chattahoochee River in Hall County. Investigators tell FOX 5 there were no obvious signs of foul play.  Results of an autopsy should be released on Monday.

Many of Baxter's family members live in Jefferson.  Understandably, they're shocked and heartbroken over her tragic death.  They also say they have a number of questions.  They aren't sure why she would have been alone in the part of the lake she was found in.  They also say she's a good swimmer, and they don't know why she would have been found without clothes on.

"There's something that's not adding up," said Baxter's mother, Darlene Sanders.  "Somebody had to be there to do something to her-- something."

Baxter was a single mother of four children between the ages of 10 and 15.  Her family members describe her as a loving mother, and they say their best memories of her are dancing and singing with her.
