Family In Need Of Help After Fire Killed 3 Kids

CHESTER, Pa. -

This father's heart breaks every second, every minute of every day.

"I cry plenty of times. I miss my daughter. I just miss seeing her," Tim Ferguson says.

He just got back from seeing his daughter Amajhy's body prepared for her funeral.

"You are used to seeing her with life, energy, facial expressions, laughter and joy," Ferguson says.

The day of her viewing is also her birthday. Precious Amajhy would have turned 10-years-old.

"We would have been celebrating her life in another way instead of celebrating it tomorrow at a funeral service."

It was last week that Ferguson remembers Amajhy, his oldest daughter 11-year-old Tamia, and 4-year-old son Tim-Tim going to bed. His niece and two nephews were also sleeping over.

But fire ripped through their Chester home while the family slept early that morning.

"You know how when you start a grill, you hear that sound? That's what it sounded like. So I knew the fire was there. The smoke was so black and thick," Ferguson recalled.

He was able to get his wife, son and youngest nephew out. His oldest daughter also made it out.

Sadly his niece and other nephew died from the fire. And he soon realized his baby girl Amajhy was gone too.

"I was just happy she didn't call out to me and say, 'Daddy, please,' and I couldn't really get to her, and the last thing on her mind would have been like my dad left me." Ferguson said.

The family lost everything. Ferguson doesn't know how they will survive.

"You definitely don't know which direction you're going to go in and where things are going to come from."

A memorial fund is set up in Amajhy's memory. If you'd like to donate to help the family who lost their child, their home and everything in it, there are several ways to donate.

Both parents have donation links on their Facebook pages. And there's a TD Bank branch that is accepting donations. We've got more information and links right here.

Video games may be pure fantasy, but a violent action-adventure game called "Watch Dogs" has ignited a very real debate in one South Jersey community. Watch Dog allows players to adopt the persona of a James Bond-like computer hacker, chasing an evil mastermind. People say it's chock-full of foul language, sex and violence, features dark and foreboding backdrops. The latest version, which is due out this fall may be set in Camden.
