The search is on for a local math teacher believed to be missing in Yosemite National Park after he was last heard from two weeks ago.

According to family, Matthew Greene, 39, of Bethlehem, last called his parents on July 16 from a campsite near the park.

Reports are that he first arrived at the campsite on June 27 to meet up with other hikers.

The avid outdoorsman apparently has not phoned anyone else since, and friends and family are worried. They've begun a search for him that includes the use of a Twitter hashtag, #FindMattGreene.

They've also added a Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/findmattgreene.
