T-storms could impact first day of Lollapalooza

Music fans headed to Lollapalooza Friday afternoon should make sure to pack a raincoat or umbrella.

The National Weather Service is predicting a high of 81 degrees Friday with a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms.

Meteorologist Jamie Enderlen said the humidity indicates the storms could impact the downtown area Friday afternoon before moving further south at night.

The temperature is only expected to reach 78 degrees with a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms Saturday and 75 degrees and sunny Sunday, according to the weather service.
