Let it Rip: Dugeon write-in campaign

(WJBK) -

Mike Dugeon, a 30-year-old barber from the west side, has filed his paperwork to be a write-in candidate for mayor of Detroit.

As FOX 2's Charlie LeDuff explains, this could complicate things for Mike Duggan, who's pursuing an aggressive write-in campaign for mayor. Read LeDuff's report here.

Joining Huel Perkins, Charlie Langton and Charlie LeDuff on our panel to discuss were:

Jamaine Dickens, Benny Napoleon's campaign spokesman, political consultant Steve Hood, and Free Press columnist Rochelle Riley.

Bankruptcy expert Professor John Pottow from the University of Michigan also stopped by to discuss Detroit's bankruptcy and why the country is so interested in what's happening in the Motor City. Greg Bowen, spokesman for political action committee Detroit Forward also joined the discussion.
