PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia police are looking for a suspect who burglarized a chicken wing shop in Girard Estates.

A man was caught on surveillance video around 4:20 a.m. Sunday going into the restaurant by breaking a side window.

Police say he tried several times to break open a cash register, but he failed.

After finding no success, the man climbed out with the cash register, which contained $600, police say. The register fell out of a bag, but the man scooped it up and ran off.

The suspect is described as being white, between the ages of 30 and 40, with blonde or light brown hair, wearing a dark-colored T-shirt, white and blue shorts and carrying a red bag.

If anyone has information or sees the suspect, they are asked to call the police at 215-686-8477.
